Speed Stacking

I started a Speed Stacking club at lunch time. The weather has finally started to get miserable enough that students are not as interested in going outside at lunch time. I felt it only necessary to begin some type of club they can go to after eating and do some type of activity.

IT IS A HIT! Students love coming to the classroom and practicing their speed stacking skills. I have even started a top 3 leader board on the whiteboard that changes almost daily, with the top 3 fastest times to complete the entire cycle. The fastest time in the school right now is 16.65 seconds, sure beats my fastest time of 23.16...yikes!! I love that something as simple as stacking cups can bring a community of students together.
